Taking Good Care of Your Face is Important

  • October 26, 2011 at 8:02 am

Taking care of your face is very important as everyone loves a smooth clear looking face. Having a clear smooth face doesn’t just happen though, you need to take the proper steps to ensure your face is clear. Thousands of people deal with facial skin problems regularly and there is steps you can take to prevent many of the common skin problems such as acne and redness. Another common facial problem is dry and flaky skin, and this is a direct result of your skin being dehydrated, and if you want to avoid this then you should follow the steps I’m going to go through with you.

When cleaning your face there are four basic steps that everyone preaches. Now these are proven and simple steps that everyone should be doing anyways, but the fact is many people don’t and need to be reminded that it’s needed for clean clear skin. There are also some other things you can do, and we will take a look at those at the end of the article.

The first thing you need to do is make sure that you just simply clean your face twice daily at a minimum. When I say clean your face all I mean is that you should simply clean your face with warm water and soap. Make sure that you don’t rub to hard when cleaning and be gentle with your skin. Cleaning it in the morning and when you go to bed will ensure you get all of the dirt off of your face that builds up. If you wanted you could also substitute soap for a nice skin cleansing lotion, which I know most women will take advantage but most of you men probably won’t.

Toning is the next step and you don’t need to use toner on a daily basis, but you should use toner once a week. If you cleanse your face with a good skin cleanser then you won’t need to worry about toning as much as other people. This is one of the small amount of skin care tips that doesn’t need to be implemented on a daily basis.

Exfoliation also doesn’t need to be implemented into your daily schedule and you should simply exfoliate once a week. The reason why you need to exfoliate your skin is because dead skin cells build up over time, and you need to clear them off of your face. By exfoliating once per week you will ensure that you get rid of all the dead skin cells so that there is room for new skin cells to appear.

The last facial skin care step which should be followed daily is to moisturize. You can find many great moisturizers online and in your local drug mart so make sure you find one that works well for your skin. You need to moisturize on a daily basis because it’s one of the most important steps. Moisturizing hydrates your skin and will prevent it from becoming dry and flaky.

That is all you need to know when it comes to keeping a soft clean face, there are some other steps you can implement though if you would like. One of those is to use sunscreen when in the sun, the sun is harmful and you need to protect your skin from the powerful rays. A makeup remover is also necessary for most women, you don’t want to leave makeup on your face as it just causes lots of skin problems. Taking care of your skin is important and should be one of the highest things on your priority list. Make sure you do yourself a favour and take care of your skin so you never have to run into the issue of having dry rough skin. It’s a thought dreaded by most, but a reality for some, so keep yourself in the safe lane by implementing my facial skin care steps above.

Paraben Free Face Care Creams

  • October 7, 2011 at 4:23 am

Before we start talking about paraben free face care products, it may be important to give you a bit background on the subject of paraben or parabens since there are more than just one.

Parabens are obviously chemicals and it’s interesting to note that when it comes to skincare products, the synthetic ingredients tend to just jump out at you when you even glance at the label. This happens mostly because of their chemical-like hard-to-pronounce titles such as: methyl paraben, ethyl paraben, butyl paraben or propyl paraben. If you see a skincare product which lists any one of those names, then you have yourself a paraben product.

Unfortunately it’s rather difficult sometimes to find paraben free face care products because most face creams that are available on the market today contain parabens. Why do most products today use parabens? It’s not because they get rid of wrinkles, or the fact that they’re a moisturizing agent, or that they’re a skin firmer, no parabens are nothing of the sort, they’re preservatives, they’re there to give a product a long shelf life.

As a consumer you don’t usually care that much about the preservation time of a face care product because you usually use up a tube of cream fast, in just a few months. However, preservatives are important for business because if companies would have to pull their products off the shelf before they can sell it, that would put a serious dent in their profits, and they can’t have that.

And ultimately that’s what their in it for, making money, the more the better, and granted from a business standpoint it makes sense to lower your costs in any way possible, but not at the expense of your consumers’ health.

But fear not, because there are companies out there, smaller companies that take the time and money to invest in the production of all natural paraben free face care products, creams that contain natural ingredients such as the Coenzyme Q10 or Phytessence Wakame which are known to reduce wrinkles, heal irritated and dry skin and promote overall skin health.

All natural paraben free face care creams also contain preservatives, but natural ones, like vitamin E for instance, so there are other ways of doing things other than with cheap chemicals.

The multi-billion-dollar global cosmetics and skin-care-product industry sometimes is beset by a me-too mindset in which research and development focuses on matching the competition rather than applying sound science to improve products. For example in western countries the skin care market is valued at $180 million. With safe and effective procedures, advancement in medical technology, increase in awareness, the Skin care solutions business is growing very fast. The skin care market can be segregated into toners, cleansers, sunscreens, anti-wrinkle creams, dark circle removing creams, astringents, facial creams, moisturizers, fairness creams, day and night creams, etc. Out of these, facial creams, moisturizers, fairness creams, day and night creams, etc. are the most popular products and account for approximately 60% of the skin care segment.

Cosmetics have a very long period of use. The companies involved have a tremendous knowledge of what works and doesn’t work just from experience. Once they show somewhere that something works, then everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

Best Anti Wrinkle Cream For Face Care – Make Your Skin Look Younger With Natural Ingredients

  • August 25, 2011 at 7:03 pm

Appearance is something a lot of people consider important. That is why most people are afraid of getting and looking old. Whether you like it or not, wrinkles will appear on your face, a fact that people are aware of, making them join the search for the best anti wrinkle cream for face care.

Wrinkling of the skin is not pleasant at all; that’s the truth. Having those fine creases on your face can make your self-esteem nosedive upon seeing them in the mirror. There are a lot of skin care products available in the market that claim to address your problem; however, the problem is how to identify which brand is the best anti wrinkle cream for face care.

The cause of wrinkles is attributable to several factors. Aside from aging, which slows down the body’s production of collagen and elastin, sun exposure, stress, inadequate nutrition, and smoking can also affect collagen and elastin in your body. Sun exposure causes the most harm because of its UV rays. UV rays break down collagen and elastin and impairs it synthesis. It can also cause skin cancer.

There you have it; it is all about collagen and elastin. To solve the problem, you need to address the cause of the problem. Anti wrinkle cream helps decrease the appearance of fine lines and creases on your face.

You have to be careful when buying your anti wrinkle cream for face, as there a lot of scams out there. There are so many skin care products that contain chemicals that are harmful and cause skin irritation. Among these are alcohols, parabens, fragrances, and dioxanes. Mineral oil can also cause harm to your skin by clogging pores and making it more prone to acne formation.

Don’t go for any anti wrinkle cream for face that contains collagen either. While collagen is key to making skin firm and smooth, it is basically ineffective when applied topically. Go for ingredients that stimulate its production like Cynergy TK and CoQ10, specifically its form Nano-lipobelle H-EQ10. These promote the body’s ability to produce not only collagen but elastin as well.

It is important not only to apply anti wrinkle cream for face; you should ensure that you eat and live right as well, to help keep your skin smooth and beautiful. You should also exercise your body, and avoid smoking and binge drinking.

How Natural Acne Treatments Can Help in Skin Face Care

  • July 11, 2011 at 2:27 pm

Do you know how spots develop? There are two ways, the first is man made. We put a lot of man made treatments onto our skin every day, soaps, cleaners, make up. Our skin is not able to process these treatments and they build up inside pores and follicles. As they build up they collect more grease and dirt and the body reacts by turning them into spots.

The second method is entirely natural. The skin naturally produces a grease called sebum inside hair follicles. This grease, in the right amounts, helps to keep both hair and skin naturally supple. But too much of it leads to a grease build up in the same way as the first example and that in turn leads to a break out in spots.

So what does this mean with regards to natural acne treatments?

How Natural Acne Treatments Can Help

There are a large number of reasons that sebum can be developed in excess of the natural amount. Stress is one major factor, which is why you should always be relaxed as possible, well one of the reasons anyway!

Most important:

1) man made treatments clogging up the pores meaning sebum is produced to try to wash them away

2) hormonal changes, which is why teenagers are so prone to spots, and why some women have problems with acne when they are having their period

But it doesn’t have to be so severe, there are natural acne treatments that can lessen, and even remove, the acne caused in this way. High quality natural acne treatments are able to attack the main culprit of these two problems, the sebum. But it is down to you to avoid man made treatments and stress as much as possible. Not much anyone can do about hormones unfortunately though.

How can natural acne treatments help? By removing the sebum – in just the right amount.

It is important to remember that sebum isn’t the enemy here. Yes too much of it is what causes acne but it is also essential to healthy hair and skin. Man made treatments that simply strip the skin of sebum remove a vital part of the skins defenses, leaving it dry, brittle and unhealthy. Remember that skin is the first, and one of the most important, parts of your immune system.

Which is where natural acne treatments come in. Such treatments are ‘sympathetic’, that is to say they don’t simply attack the problem but instead are understand what the skin needs as a whole.

Vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, trace elements, proteins – the best natural acne treatments combine all of these ingredients and give you the mix that your skin needs, whilst also clearing away the excess sebum safely and effectively which helps to lessen and even eliminate acne.
